Enjoying our Animals

Even though we compete with our dogs, we still realize they simply enjoy just being dogs and consequently they like to go on outings with no structured training involved.  Hence, we take them on morning walks each day that the weather will allow.  Sometimes we walk with them, but other times we elect to take the Arctic Cat so they can run faster along the way.  On days where time is available, we will take a longer path which utilizes full advantage of our beautiful property.  When time is limited, or weather is a factor, we can go on a shortened trek.  We occasionally take all of the dogs together, but most often, we will take two separate groups (usually just boys, or just girls), especially if anyone is "in season".  The dogs love it, as they get to stretch out, air out, run full blast, bust through cover, climb hills, cross creeks, swim in the ponds, and their favorite, retrieve fun bumpers.

The following would certainly be unique animals to have on the Old McCatledge Farm.  However, these photos were taken while attending CKHRA's fall hunt (HRC test) at Buffalo Crossing, Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Aren't the two humpers cool!!
