 I had the privilege of meeting Allie at a Mike Lardy workshop in Wisconsin, and ever since, I have been a huge fan of hers. I had heard about her working ability from several flat-coat enthusiasts previously, but it was an absolute pleasure to actually watch her perform first hand. Her water work was amazing. Allie received most of her basic and technical training from professional Brian Hartfield, and I will say that he obviously did a very commendable job with her prior to turning over the reins to John. Allie never really needed John when she was running at tests or trials, except to complete the entry paperwork. That certainly has no bearing on her love for John, as they were very much the best of buddies. She was truly a natural at the retrieving game and had the highest level of desire and talent to perform. I strongly believe that she has passed her talent along to her offspring! Clint Catledge
