 Bix’s name came from Bix Biederbeck a famous Jazz trumpet player from our area. (Remember I teach Band!) Bix came to our family at 5 mo. from Canada. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. We have 3 intact males in our household and they actually enjoy each other’s company. How many breeds can say that? Bix loves people, especially children, working and snuggling. He is very biddable and eager to please but is not too soft and takes correction well. When hunted last year he worked very close with a minimal amount of training. I think he has a better nose than most dogs and is a natural tracker. My intention is to solidify his marking and blind work over the winter and spring then run junior and senior concurrently in the spring/summer of 2007. Alyce Spoto
