Jayda was a stud fee puppy that we initially co-owned with Beth Meaney of Savvy Flat-coated Retrievers.  She never really took off in her field work and we eventually offered her to Tom and Sara Fisher who also own Scully.  Jayda is now enjoying life on the couch and with her new family.  Sherie & Clint

Jayda is a wonderful girl who came to live with us in November, 2008.  She is such a sweet girl and gets along with everyone and everything she meets.  She has adjusted really well to her new surroundings and loves being a house dog.  She shares her house  and yard with her half-sister, Scully, and a 12 year old Scottish Terrier, Katie.  She even accepts the ducks that are in our lake and yard.  She is a joy to be around and she seems to have such a good time with everything.  In addition to all that, she is beautiful!  Thanks to Sherie and Clint for sharing her with us.  We love her!

Hi, Sherie.  I know I have said this before but I just want to thank you
again for this wonderful girl.  Even though we only had her for a short
time she has a huge place in our hearts.  I don't know if we have ever
had a dog as sweet as Jayda.  Today was one of the hardest days we've
faced but we know we made the right decision.  We had to do what was
best for Jayda and that was not to let her suffer.  It was a very
peaceful ending with Tom, our vet, a tech, and me all sitting on the
floor with her petting her, talking to her, and telling her how 
much we loved her.  She just went to sleep with her head on my lap.  
Our vet is wonderful and as I started to stand up she took a towel and
made a pillow for Jayda's head.  We feel blessed to have had her for the
time we did and also know that she was very happy.  We are having her
cremated and will bury her ashes in our yard.  We miss her terribly.
