Ruby initially went to live with a good friend of ours, whose intentions at the time were to get involved in field training and also compete in conformation.  His situation in life changed, and in the fall of 2008, he asked us to take Ruby back, which we did without hesitation.  Her coat was a bit sunburned from living in an outdoor run, and she had very little training, but otherwise she had turned out to be very lovely.  She loves retrieving and is very fast, both out and back.  Like the rest of her littermates, Ruby jumps like a gazelle.  We have our fingers crossed in anticipation that Ruby will turn out to be something special.
